About This Role
The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for an Emergency Room Veterinary Assistant. The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to VHC veterinarians, veterinary students, and Registered Veterinary Technicians in the performance of their duties to improve the efficiency of the ER service and improve client service experience. This position will provide clerical and patient care support, triage, perform charge entry, and serve as a medical scribe and electronic medical record specialist in the Small Animal Emergency service. This position will assist with ICU inpatient patient care, restocking, and ward maintenance during ER down time. Worksite Description This position is On-site. On-Site All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law.
