We are currently looking for a IT Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Holland, MI.



Job Overview

Providecomprehensive support for a range of IT programs, policies, systems and procedures. Use IT knowledge to resolve issues and contribute to process improvements. Collaboratewith IT team members to ensure the efficient delivery of IT services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking, deployment, and disposal. Create user accounts, including creating new accounts, resetting passwords, and assigning permissions.
  • Monitor system performance, identifying and escalating issues that impact service availability.
  • Support IT infrastructure, including network devices and printers.
  • Identify and suggest improvements for IT support processes and procedures. Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as user guides, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Train junior support staff on IT support procedures, best practices, and technical skills.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
  • Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School or equivalent
  • Work Experience: 1 year hardware printer support experience
  • Military Equivalency at www.mynextmove.org/vets/find/military
  • Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
  • Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles and familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • Experience managing IT assets, including lifecycle tracking, deployment, and decommissioning.
  • Proficiency with account administration tasks such as provisioning, permission management, and password resets.
  • Ability to monitor system performance and proactively identify issues affecting service availability.
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure components, including switches, routers, and printers.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing Zebra printers.
  • Support experience with handheld scanning devices (Honeywell Intermec and Keyence).
  • Experience supporting a Windows 11 domain environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and workflow tools used in IT support environments.
  • Ability to contribute to process improvements and recommend enhancements to IT support procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Haworth experience, including IT hardware support
