Porter - 1st shift, 2nd shift

Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM).

Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy,IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Summary:

The Porter will be responsible for keeping all working areas and physical surroundings of the plant in a clean and orderly condition. This operation is to be performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP, Safety, Regulatory and Company procedures and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety, company and GMP policies and departmental procedures.

• Clean production department floors.

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.

• Complete necessary documentation for cleaning non-production areas.

• Empty waste baskets and trash bin collectors.

• Collect and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.

• Operate waste compactor units.

• Replenish cafeteria and rest room supplies.

• Operate floor scrubbing machine.

• Clear floor spills in the production and warehouse areas.

• Clean and maintain outer perimeter of the facility including basic landscaping, trash removal, etc

High School Diploma required

Physical: Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights

Compensation: $17.45

Candidate must consent a background screening, drug test and physical.

1st shift hours are 10am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday
