We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to help drive growth in the Transit and Rolling Stock markets. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape strategies for long-term, sustainable growth-and lead their execution. The ideal candidate brings:
- A proven track record in product management, product marketing, or related functional role
- Strong understanding of energy, infrastructure, or industrial markets, specifically as it relates to electrical products
- The ability to balance business objectives with customer needs
Essential Duties:
In coordination with cross-functional teams, engineering, and sales management:
- Lead management of the transit and rolling stock product portfolio, ensuring alignment with group strategy
- Develop and communicate the product vision and strategy based on market research, competitive analysis, and voice of customer feedback
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product strategy
- Communicate product plans and updates to internal stakeholders and executive teams, providing clear and concise presentations
- In collaboration with the Group Product Manager, lead product marketing efforts for designated product offering, aligning marketing actions with 3-year growth strategies
- Manage new product growth funnel for respective product portfolio, ensuring product vitality metrics are on track and health of product portfolio is prioritized
- Own the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards
- Work closely with Market Strategy and Growth leaders to meet and exceed revenue growth targets, maintaining or growing market share and expanding margin
- Develop relationships with key customers and attend customer meetings in support of winning new business
- Establish pricing strategies and margin targets, analyze trends and results, monitor costs, and evaluate market conditions
- Monitor and analyze product performance, user engagement, and adoption metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Define the product roadmap, prioritizing functionality and enhancements that align with business goals and customer requirements
- Monitor industry trends, technological developments, and competitor activities; leverage these insights to guide product decisions and sustain a competitive edge in assigned markets
- Identify potential risks and challenges related to product development and deployment and develop mitigation strategies
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for sales teams to educate them on product value, features, benefits, and competitive differentiation
- Support the development of sales enablement materials such as presentations, case studies, product guides, and FAQs to help sales representatives effectively communicate the value proposition of our products
- Domestic and international travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships

Education and Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of product management, B2B sales, product engineering, or product marketing experience preferred
- Strategic thinker with ability to develop long-term plans incorporating focused direction
- Knowledge and experience in the wire and cable industry and/or Transit and Rolling Stock market preferred
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college preferred
Knowledge and Skills Preferred:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of financial and business acumen
- Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results
- Well-organized, attention to detail, and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in technology and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, web, databases, Power BI, ERP systems)
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work long hours in a sedentary position
- Ability to move objects and materials of at least 25 lbs
- Ability to collaborate with manufacturing team members in a potentially noisy environment
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE when onsite
- Required to travel up to 30% of the time, both international and domestic
