Description & Requirements

As the Independence Solutions Manager, you will lead the strategic evolution of WeCheck, our global independence and acceptance compliance tool. This role requires ownership of the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance, driving user adoption, and delivering enhancements that meet regulatory and business needs. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Audit, Assurance, Compliance, Risk, and IT, translating user requirements into actionable solutions while maintaining the highest standards of independence

What You Will Do:

  • Define and maintain the vision and roadmap for the evolution of WeCheck, an independence tool
  • Monitor regulatory changes and firm policies to ensure tool compliance and relevance
  • Collect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve usability and efficiency
  • Prioritize enhancements to the tool based on business needs, compliance requirements, and user feedback
  • Act as the primary liaison between global teams, gathering requirements and aligning priorities
  • Lead governance meetings and communicate product updates to senior stakeholders
  • Oversee development and deployment of new functionalities, integrations, and reporting capabilities within the tool
  • Act as a liaison for testing, UAT, and rollout for system updates
  • Ensure data integrity and implement controls for compliance monitoring
  • Oversee the design and delivery of training programs, onboarding materials, and communication plans
  • Develop and automate reporting templates for independence checks and KPIs
  • Provide insights to leadership on tool performance and compliance metrics
  • Identify risks related to independence processes and propose mitigation strategies
  • Drive change management initiatives for global adoption of new features
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional or international teams and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and implement operational protocols
  • Hands-on experience with WeCheck or similar independence systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a global or matrixed organization
  • Proficient with advanced data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with independence and acceptance compliance standards
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning, organizational alignment, compliance, data governance, and project management
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
