Overview
The Windows Customer team is looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven, collaborative Technical Program Manager who will help us to deliver delightful experiences to millions of customers by facilitating and maintaining efficient communication flow between the Windows users and Windows engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, design, and user research to embed feedback into every stage of product development and delivery. If you're customer obsessed and have a passion for listening to and improving Windows by taking their feedback and driving impactful product changes to further delight Windows users, then this is the job for you! Your responsibilities include analyzing feedback at scale, advocating for product changes based on signals from quantitative and qualitative data, and delivering actionable insights that influence product direction. You will identify issues, drive solutions, and ensure feedback translates into actionable outcomes. Success in this role requires balancing technical understanding with empathy, influencing stakeholders without direct authority, and maintaining accountability for results. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you will work in complex, ambiguous environments and apply strategic influence to deliver measurable results. You will need knowledge of Microsoft products/services and the ability to drive technical conversations and stay on top of in-depth changes implemented for multiple product feature areas across the Operating System to understand the nuance of feedback coming from our customers. You will be expected to identify emerging issues and patterns from customer feedback quickly, represent the voice of the customer from planning cycles to ship rooms, and clearly articulate customer needs and pain points to leadership. #W+DJOBS Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
