Overview
Microsoft's Intellectual Property Group seeks aSenior Director, Intellectual Policy & Strategy to join its Open Innovation team. The Open Innovation Team builds legal and policy solutions to empower Microsoft and our customers, partners, and developers to deliver value through open innovation. As a key member of the Open Innovation team, you will develop and execute Microsoft's global IP policy agenda (with particular emphasis on copyright and open data) working across jurisdictions to address critical IP conversations with a specific focus on AI diffusion. Utilizing deep subject matter expertise and your professional networks, you will shape policies in ways that build on Microsoft's mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. #CELA Government Affairs IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $160,700 - $284,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $207,700 - $311,500 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
