Information Technology Internship - Developer

Job Function/Purpose:

Under the mentorship of a Knapheide Developer, learn full stack application development. Assist in testing, implementing and supporting applications used both inside and outside the organization. Develop system enhancements that meet business needs, and coordinate implementation of those enhancements. Duties include writing program specifications.

Principal Activities:

  • Write, test, and document the necessary code to implement approved programming requests
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of coding
  • Perform program maintenance and problem resolution as assigned
  • Test and debug programs
  • Operational programming - single purpose applications, dashboards, reporting, charting, application feature additions and application modifications
  • Moderate application programming - applications encompassing one or more business processes

Knowledge/ Skills:

• Currently working toward a degree in computer science or a related field
• Good foundation in programming concepts, tools and frameworks
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• A strong passion for programming and willingness to learn
