Responsible for data entry from billing encounter forms and auto charge posting, updating the patient information and handling all third party billing appropriately. Responsible for processing the practice's professional charges daily.

REQUIRED

1. 1 year of experience in a medical clerical setting.
2. Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Managed care, and Indemnity plans.
3. Knowledge of CPT, ICD coding and Medical terminology.
4. Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
5. Ability to communicate with insurance representatives and patients in a professional manner.
6. Ability to manage time of self and others
7. Ability to read and understand a medical records chart
