Responsibilities
HRIS Analyst Remote Position The HRIS Analyst serves as the technical owner and trusted advisor for the company's HR technology ecosystem across 16 manufacturing sites. This role manages system configuration, data integrity, reporting/analytics, integrations with payroll/timekeeping, and process optimization to enable accurate staffing, compliance, and workforce planning. The analyst partners with HR, Payroll, IT, and Plant Leadership to ensure systems are stable, secure, user-friendly, and aligned to business goals. Your Seat at the Table: System Administration & Configuration
- Administer HRIS (e.g., ADP ) including core HR, talent, time & attendance, benefits, and onboarding modules.
- Configure business processes, workflows, security roles, approvals, and notifications aligned to multi-plant operations.
- Own data model changes, picklists, calculations, eligibility rules, and system releases; lead regression testing.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Establish data standards and audits to maintain high data quality (employee master, job/position data, compensation, supervisor trees).
- Ensure compliance with federal/state employment regulations (EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ACA, pay transparency) and records retention.
- Manage privacy, role-based access; document and maintain SOPs.
Integrations & Vendor Management
- Build and maintain integrations between HRIS and payroll, LMS, timekeeping
- Triage issues with vendors and internal IT; monitor interface files and error logs; drive root-cause fixes.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop self-service dashboards and scheduled reports (headcount, turnover, overtime, absenteeism, safety training, DEI metrics).
- Provide ad hoc analytics for plant leadership and HRBPs; democratize insights via standardized reporting packages.
Process Improvement & Enablement
- Map and optimize HR processes (onboarding, job changes, pay actions, leaves, benefits events) for speed and accuracy.
- Train HR users and plant admins; create quick reference guides and knowledge articles.
- Lead or support HR technology projects and roadmap execution across all sites.
Qualifications
What you Bring to the Table: Required
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5+ years HRIS experience (UKG/Workday/ADP or similar), including configuration and reporting.
- Strong proficiency in HR data, reporting tools (e.g., Cognos/BI, Power BI, Workday Report Writer), and Excel.
- Experience with integrations (flat files, APIs), testing, and change management.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- Multi-site or multi-state manufacturing experience supporting hourly and shift-based populations.
- Exposure to timekeeping/scheduling (e.g., Kronos/UKG Dimensions), ATS, LMS, and payroll systems.
- SQL or advanced BI skills; experience with role-based security frameworks.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) or vendor certifications.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and handling documents.
- Ability to hear and speak clearly for phone calls, virtual meetings, and in-person discussions.
- Ability to read data on screens and printed reports; may require close vision for detailed work
- Ability to stand, walk, or move around the office for meetings or filing
- Occasionally lift or move items up to 10-20 lbs (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)
Working Conditions
- Hybrid office/remote; occasional plant visits for discovery, training, and change management (up to 10-20% travel).
- Must be able to work across time zones to support all sites during peak periods.
