The Buyer for Watershields and Weatherstripping will support buying in North America and Globally with an annual value of business of ~$300M. The core responsibilities of this position are the co-development, ownership, and execution of full lifecycle commodity strategies. This position will assist on the global team for commodity coordinating global sourcing's, synergy acceleration, benchmarking, and commodity strategy execution. Buyer activities include, but are not limited to, coordinating, and managing open issues, leading and executing business plan, and serving as escalation point to drive issue closure. Frequent professional communication with senior leadership is expected.

This position affords the opportunity for career development within the Purchasing organization and with other cross-functional groups. The ideal candidate will strive to continuously improve purchasing processes.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Business, Finance, Economics or related degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or other disciplines that require negotiation and/or exposure to sourcing/project management processes
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong fluency with G Suite / MS Office Suite (strong spreadsheet skills)


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree; MBA or Engineering (ME/EE)
  • CPSM Certification
  • International working experience
  • Familiarity with cross functional (Finance, Engineering, SCM, Capacity) processes
