SUMMARY

The Site Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance on safety regulations and compliance. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:



  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and site personnel to ensure safety is prioritized and integrated into all aspects of site operations.
  • Provide regular safety training and orientation for employees and contractors, covering topics such as hazard identification, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and analyze root causes to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training sessions.
  • Stay up to date with changes in safety regulations and industry trends, and advise management on necessary adjustments to safety programs or policies.
  • Foster a safety culture by promoting awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement in all safety-related activities.
