What this job involves:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional project outcomes for a high-profile financial institution client. This role requires managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, ranging from critical infrastructure upgrades to executive-level renovations for C-suite clients. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle from initiation to close-out, ensuring all aspects meet the highest standards expected by our financial services client.

Project types include, but are not limited to:

  • Interior building outs and tenant improvements

  • HVAC rooftop replacements and mechanical system upgrades

  • Security system upgrades and implementations

  • Audio-visual technology upgrades and installations

  • Exterior facade renovations and building envelope improvements

  • Roof replacements and waterproofing projects

  • Critical infrastructure projects requiring minimal business disruption

  • Executive suite and C-level office renovations

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Delivering projects: Successfully managing and leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.

  • Stakeholder management: Building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Team leadership: Leading and motivating project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowering individuals to achieve their best performance.

  • Project planning and monitoring: Developing comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.

  • Budget and cost management: Tracking project finances, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints, and providing accurate cost forecasts.

  • Quality control: Implementing robust quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards and client expectations.

  • Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, implementing innovative project management practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Project Controls: Implement technology platform systems, process management, data analytics, and strategic advisory. Track project milestones, deliverables, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports and requirements documentation to team members and clients. Ensure all project documentation is maintained and updated as required.

  • Travel required for project work as needed, up to 30% at times

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (ie Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management)

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in project management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.

  • Proven experience managing multiple high-priority projects concurrently in fast-paced environments

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with C-suite executives and senior-level stakeholders

  • Experience with critical infrastructure projects requiring coordination around business operations

  • Proficiency in project management software, including ProCore, BIM360, Plan Swift, Vista, Microsoft Office including Project, Prolog, PlanGrid, InGenious

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Background managing projects for financial services or corporate clients

  • Experience with executive-level renovations and high-visibility projects

  • Track record of successful project delivery in mission-critical environments

  • Professional certification in project management (PMP)

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

  • Digital adaptability and strong background with digital tools and technologies in project management.

  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
