The Role The Research Manager plays a critical role within the Research and Business Insights team, supporting the organization through high-quality primary research, survey programming, and data delivery. This role is responsible for managing Medallia survey builds, programming and testing questionnaires, administering research workflows, and ensuring insights are delivered in clear, user-friendly formats. The Research Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders across Players, Coaches, Facilities, Advocacy, and Sections to support strategic decision-making through timely, accurate, and well-designed research outputs.

Success requires technical proficiency in survey platforms, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate research data into meaningful insights for business partners.

    Program, test, launch, and monitor surveys in Medallia and other survey platforms.
  • Manage intake, documentation, and execution of research requests across the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to finalize questionnaire design, logic, and required data outputs.
  • Produce dashboards and reports summarizing research findings in visually compelling, easy-to-use formats.
  • Maintain standardized survey templates, dashboards, and workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Conduct initial data checks, quality control reviews, and fieldwork monitoring to ensure data accuracy.
  • Support Research team with sample frame development, data cleaning, coding, and basic analysis.
  • Share dashboards and insights with internal clients; ensure partners understand how to use research tools for decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with survey platform vendors and third-party research partners.
  • Ensure compliance with research best practices, data privacy, and data governance standards.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Research, Psychology, Marketing, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in survey programming, market research, or insights analytics.
  • Proficiency in Medallia or similar enterprise survey platforms strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Ability to summarize complex research into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, Medallia dashboards).
  • Passion for the tennis or sports industry is a plus.
  • This position is designated as "hybrid/flex" in Orlando and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time. Please consult HR for the most current policy. This position is considered exempt

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $85,000-$100,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
