Description
What You Will Do The Supervisor of Planning provides daytoday leadership, coordination, and oversight for all planning functions-including both Planning and Booth Planning-ensuring a unified workflow and consistent output quality. This role focuses on team development, operational execution, and ensuring timely, accurate work package preparation and project flow to support aircraft maintenance events.
- Ensure work package completeness, accuracy, and alignment with maintenance requirements.
- Verify data integrity and system accuracy, including billing elements, task details, and material requirements.
- Oversee and support the daily activities of planners and booth planners, ensuring clear priorities and balanced workloads.
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance leadership to track package buildup, check progress, and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in developing accurate shortterm planning inputs based on known maintenance events.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and skill development for planners and booth planners., specifically technical proficiency and project flow capabilities.
- Utilize Power BI, Copilot, Microsoft Office, MS Project, and related planning systems.
- Apply general datatool proficiency to review information, support decisionmaking, and maintain planning accuracy.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk throughout maintenance areas and climb stairs to aircraft or work platforms.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed to handle work package materials or planning documentation.
What You Need Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize work in a multiproject environment.
- Working knowledge of maintenance processes
- Three (3) years of lead or supervisor experience in heavy maintenance MRO environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, and general digital tools.
- Working knowledge of FAA and Federal Aviation Regulations relevant to FAR Part 145 operations.
Preferred
- A&P License.
- Bachelor's degree in aviation technology, business, or related technical field.
- Previous planning, production control, or wings experience
