Key Responsibilities

  • Lead detail day to day financial and management accounting, reporting, planning, and analysis activities across the entire business.
  • Partner closely with leadership and supporting functions to achieve strategic financial objectives.
  • Maintain a stable internal control environment, ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards, compliance with FAR, DFAR, and DEAR Federal Regulations, and State and Local agency requirements.
  • Provide actionable insights and work in developing annual financial plans/budgets to enhance organizational efficiency and lower operational costs.
  • Lead a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering growth and talent development while implementing best practices.
  • Offer technical guidance on contractual and accounting matters, critical performance metrics, and ad-hoc business analysis.
  • Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

Education, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
  • 10 - 15 years of experience in Financial/Administrative areas.
  • 10 years of experience in Federal Contracting Environment.
  • Extensive knowledge in federal contracting rules and regulations (FAR/DFAR/DEAR).
  • Experience with Costpoint and ADP preferred.
  • Experience in Federal approved Fringe, Overhead, and General and Administrative Pool Structures.
  • Experience and knowledge of Business Insurance markets/policies/coverages and risk management aspects of Insurance Programs
    • Knowledge of Captive Insurance Programs/Markets (desired).
  • Knowledge of Bond/Surety markets, Indemnification Agreements and Co-Surety Arrangements
  • Experience in IT systems and coordination of IT needs across an organization
  • Federal Procurement Experience with Certified Procurement System experience (preferred)
  • Federal Estimating Experience with Certified Estimating System Experience (preferred)
  • Joint Venture Agreement negotiation and key terms experience
  • Federal CAS/Disclosure Statement knowledge and experience, both the policy development and implementation of policies and procedures necessary to obtain and maintain compliance.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) (required).
  • Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
