About the Role We are seeking a General Labor, Packing team member to join our Swedesboro bakery. In this role, you will be responsible for packing products according to case count and quality specifications under the supervision of the Packing Supervisor/Manager, while maintaining compliance with food safety and GMP standards. Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rd Shift Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Weekend Availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $18.00 Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Pack production units into cases, ensuring adherence to case pack specifications and quality standards. Verify product units meet quality specifications (color, weight, height, length, appearance, core temperature). Insert liners, baking instructions, and retail bags into cases as needed. Ensure accurate coding and labeling of finished cases and pallets. Maintain sufficient packaging materials and supplies for production. Assist with collating retail bags based on production schedules. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including equipment sanitation and floor cleaning. Follow GMPs, food safety, and company procedures at all times. Participate in continuous improvement activities and root cause analysis. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High school diploma or GED required. Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to read, write clearly, and communicate effectively in English. Problem-solving and reasoning skills. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Prior experience in a fast-paced production or packing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk continuously, frequent bending, twisting, and stooping. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs with assistance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate manual pallet jacks. Must have adequate vision, hearing, and communication skills for safety and operational purposes.
