JOB SUMMARY The Sr Director of Information Technology is the most senior IT position in North America. Reporting to the VP of IT, the Sr Director works collaboratively with the Bora North America site leadership teams to ensure that the IT strategy is aligned with the business objectives and results. As a member of the leadership team, the Sr Director, participates in and contributes to overall enterprise business technology planning, bringing current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems to business processes, products and services in order to gain a competitive advantage for the enterprise. The North American IT site leaders directly report to this position. This role is responsible for all IT Governance & Compliance processes and for ensuring that Bora's cyber security processes and practices are maintained for this region. - Responsible for the consistent delivery of service and support of the IT operation through the NA region.
- Partners with North American business leaders to set the mission, vision, and strategy of the regional IT organization and to ensure the success of new business process projects and initiatives.
- Working with the VP IT, collaboratively influences the strategic direction for all Bora IT operations, including infrastructure and architecture, application development, re-engineering business processes, networks, cyber security, outsourcing, and computer and auxiliary operations and support.
- Works collaboratively with site business leaders to define their IT operational strategy, develop appropriate business cases for IT projects and facilitates delivery.
- Articulate and deliver programs, projects, and changes in alignment with enterprise strategy and based on standard approaches and procedures. Document and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and covering business processes, applications, information/data, infrastructure, and services.
- Ensures compliance with all relative statutory and regulatory regulations.
- Aligned with the regional leadership team to define, operate, and monitor an information security management system that protects the organization's information assets, and maintain an acceptable level of cybersecurity risk.
- Builds relationships and creates synergies across Bora to enable cost effective and innovative shared solutions.
- Manage optimal allocation of financial resources in support of company's strategy, needs and expectations, including long-term planning, budgeting, cost management and reporting.
- Assists VP of IT in managing strategic vendors to ensure best value and contract compliance. As well as management of contracts, agreements, licensing ensuring compliant operation of IT services in support of end users and other IT functional areas.
- Ensure optimal recruitment/acquisition, planning, evaluation, and development of human resources (both internal and external) in support of IT services for the business stakeholders while fostering Bora's desired culture.
- Ensure IT assets in support of the organization are managed throughout their life cycle delivering value at optimal cost, securely, reliably, consistently, in alignment with licensing, commercial, regulatory, and legal standards and following internal and external compliance requirements

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
- 20-25+ years in increasingly responsible information technology roles including IT infrastructure/operations, enterprise applications development and support, project and change management, external stakeholder (i.e., regulatory, vendor, customer) relationships.
- 15+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level systems both physical or software-defined, on-premises or on-the-cloud, and including telecommunications and networking, compute, storage, hyper-converged environments, backup/restore, disaster recovery platforms.
- Expert-level understanding and experience delivering information systems in hybrid onpremises/on-cloud mission critical architectures for regulated industries.
- Extensive experience in formulating, communicating, designing, planning, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level initiatives such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Controlled Document Management Systems (CDMS).
- Expert-level understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing compliance (Computer Systems Validation), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Extensive experience in enterprise data integration and business intelligence platforms applied to life sciences.
- Ability to manage and work with remote employees.
Compensation Range: $215,933.00 - $323,899.00
