Material Controller

The Material Controller will provide all aspects necessary in the coordination of the flow of incoming materials and supplies within the facility.

Location: Manchester, CT

This role will be onsite 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Performs receiving transactions for all incoming materials and supplies. Enter data into the ERP system to track inventory levels and update records.
• Move received goods to the next location for processing.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
• Assist in picking and packing orders for shipping.
• Organize and maintain the receiving area to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of incoming shipments.
• Support the creation of PO's for Outside Vendor's when needed.
• Prepares various reports as required by the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
• Works with and/or assists Purchasing in contacting venders for missing paperwork (i.e. Packing Slips, Certificates of Conformance, Material Certifications).
• Perform inspection of hardware as required.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
• Transactional experience within an ERP system. Syteline experience a plus
• Knowledgeable of receiving procedures and general use of handling equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• The employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
