The Department of Healthcare Management at Winston-Salem State University seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Instructor in Healthcare Management. This position involves a focus on teaching, advising, and engagement with a commitment to fostering student success in a dynamic educational environment.
Teaching:
- Teach undergraduate courses in healthcare management, policy, and related fields, employing effective teaching methodologies.
- Develop and enhance course materials, syllabi, and assessments to ensure relevance and rigor.
- Incorporate experiential learning opportunities, such as case studies, simulations, and guest speakers from the industry.
Advising:
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate students, guiding them in their educational and career aspirations.
- Assist students in identifying internship opportunities and career pathways in healthcare management.
- Support student engagement in departmental activities and organizations.
Scholarship:
- Engage in professional development to stay current in the field of healthcare management and improve teaching practices.
