Business Litigation Counsel - Huntsville

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is currently seeking a Counsel track attorney to join the Business Litigation Practice Group in the Huntsville office.

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience representing companies and/or financial institutions in regard to single plaintiff litigation. Strong preference for candidates with experience handling litigation involving consumer loans of all types, including contracts, loan agreements/modifications, wrongful foreclosure and other mortgage related litigation.
• Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, and drafting pleadings.
• Candidates must be licensed in Alabama. Licenses in other states such as Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee or Kentucky a plus.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience appearing in state and federal courts in Alabama.
• Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
