Position Summary

Trideum Corporation has openings for two (2) End-to-End Systems Engineers (E2ESE) to provide support to the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Mission Training Complex (MTC) at Camp Bullis, in San Antonio, TX. These are full-time, on-site positions that provide comprehensive technical engineering support for the JBSA MTC, ensuring the integration, interoperability, and performance of the MTC simulation training systems with Command-and-Control Information Systems (C2IS). The E2ESEs serve as technical liaisons between MTC operations, network engineering, simulation, and training support sections, providing systems-level oversight from planning through execution and after-action analysis. This position ensures training systems are operationally ready, technically aligned, and capable of meeting Army training objectives in both resident and distributed training environments.

What You'll Do

The E2ESEs support MTC supported training events by coordinating technical requirements across network, simulation, C2IS, and training support teams to deliver a fully integrated training environment. Responsibilities include supporting exercise planning activities, Technical Integration Working Groups (TIWGs), and architecture development; identifying and resolving system interoperability and connectivity issues; and ensuring systems comply with applicable cybersecurity requirements, including IAVAs and configuration management standards. Responsibilities also include:



  • Reports to the Technical Integration Lead
  • Provide functional and technical expertise on MTC simulations and systems
  • Perform technical planning, system/network integration analysis, system requirements, interoperability functional analysis and support training events
  • Designs, implements and maintains network configurations
  • Provides units with a simulation training environment utilizing government provided hardware and software configured to fulfill the needs of a simulation control plan
  • Test and validate simulation integration and stimulation necessary to facilitate resolution of complex simulation/stimulation issues
  • Applies advanced troubleshooting skills necessary to manage C2IS and other related system software issues
  • Installation, networking and operation of hardware and software, to include responding to hardware and software problems, and applying network security necessary to operate MTC simulation models, collect data, and analyze results
  • Supports training unit exercise technical planning, perform site surveys, and analyze hardware, software, scenario stimulation, data collection, and after-action review (AAR) requirements necessary to meet event and commander's objectives
  • Be able to train simulation operators and advise in determining which Mission Command boxes will be stimulated during events
  • May evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance current capabilities
  • Provides IT Technical Support for the MTC and its functional training teams
  • Assists team members in the installation, configuration and operation of the operating system(s), security and simulation software necessary for the training environment
  • Maintains necessary information assurance protocols on stimulation/simulation systems that include but not limited to: System lockdown procedures, operating system patches, and stimulation/simulation software patches and updates
  • Review IAVAs, STIGS and Best Business Practices (BBPs) to ensure that all Network equipment meet the required Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Army and DoD Standards
  • Analyzes progress and develop necessary recovery plans and/or alternatives
  • Ensures adherence to Company and JBSA Policies, Practices and Procedures Safeguard and maintain Government furnished equipment, materials and facilities
  • Ensure that Government and contract guidelines, regulations, policies and standards are complied with.
  • Ensure Implementation and adherence to all Trideum Quality standards
  • Physical/Shift Requirements: Ability to support extended hours during exercise execution, including some evening or weekend shifts as required by the training schedule
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Minimal travel may be required


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree. Equivalent experience in systems integration may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years' experience supporting systems engineering or simulation-to-C2 integration in Army or DoD environments
  • Demonstrated experience integrating modeling and simulation (M&S) tools with operational C2IS systems
  • Demonstrated experience installing, configuration, troubleshooting Simulation hardware and software to stimulate C2IS. Requires strong understanding of the LVCG concepts
  • Strong working knowledge of tactical networks, Army message protocols (e.g., VMF, MIL-STD-6017), and JBC-P/SA systems
  • Familiarity with simulation protocols to include DIS, HLA, and TENA, and their application within federated simulation environments
  • Understanding of the RMF and Cyber Security requirements
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at the same time under stressful conditions
  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II certification (minimum) (e.g. CompTIA Security+ with Computing Environment (CE) certifications)
  • Must have subject matter expertise level knowledge of virtual training simulators, and constructive simulations experience
  • United States Citizen
  • Active Secret security clearance


Desired Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree
  • Previous JBSA MTC experience
  • Military experience to include knowledge of military doctrine and tactics
  • IAT level III or IAM level II certified
