Position(s) I am Applying for Intelligence Fellow Essential Functions Assist in gathering, analyzing, and contributing to Stepwise Risk Outlook, the firm's flagship risk report. Monitor developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks relevant to assigned issues and geographic regions. Support reputational and compliance due diligence investigations by conducting background research and analysis, and preparing client reports. Contribute to business development efforts by researching and drafting backgrounder reports on issues and entities for management, summarizing findings and recommendations. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with firm policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely information sharing. Non - Essential Functions Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree (or currently pursuing) in national security, intelligence studies, international affairs, and related degrees Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with AI tools is a plus. Interest in risk assessment, investigations, security and complex problem solving. Learning Opportunities Exposure to real-world risk analysis and investigative methodologies. Mentorship from experienced risk management and investigative professionals. Experience with research tools, investigative databases, and analytical tradecraft. Honing writing skills in the US government-style. Work Environment Paid fellowship, one year in length. Office Location: Washington DC; flexible hours may be available. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $55,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant's experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
