About the team Worldpay, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior - Web Developer in Cincinnati, OH to architect web applications using modern technology frameworks and patterns. What you will be doing The Software Engineer Senior - Web Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and deploying applications to production environment. Additionally, the role will: * Develop both front-end (client-side) and back-end (server-side) components, supporting existing products and business applications. Building scalable solutions. * Conduct usability testing to identify and resolve technical issues and gather real-world intelligence from target users. * Collaborate with business and IT decision makers to discuss end-to-end requirements and brainstorm ideas. * Experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) and good knowledge on back-end technologies (Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Boot Batch, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate). * Design and develop RESTful APIs. * Integrate with databases (MS SQL, DB2) and external services. * Use responsive web design to create applications that automatically conform to multiple screen sizes/devices. * Use visual aids such as wireframes, storyboards, and UI flow charts, to plan and * present technical designs. * Adhere to SDLC and Development processes, coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot applications already in production as needed. Attend overnight releases when needed. * Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. * Experience with deploying applications on cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services (AWS EKS, AWS EC2, AWS S3). Requirements Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: * utilizing Frontend Frameworks and Technologies including Angular, HTML5, CSS, Typescript, and JavaScript for UI Development; * utilizing Backend Languages & Frameworks including Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, OAuth, JWT, Spring Security for Rest API's Development, Spring Boot Batch for bulk processing, Spring Data JPA and Hibernate for database including DB2, MS and SQL management; * utilizing Data Encryption techniques for PCI-DSS data; * utilizing Data Caching mechanism to improve the application performance; * utilizing Jenkins, AWS, AWS EKS, AWS S3, AWS EC2 DevOps & Cloud platforms to handle the deployments into environments; * utilizing Software Development Practices including Version control tools (Git), Unit Testing Frameworks including Junit, Mockito, and Jasmine for both UI and Backend, and Agile & Scrum Methodology to deliver frequently to market; * working with payment processing platforms.
