We are seeking a Capital Markets PM/Trader to help shape and scale our rapidly growing ETF business. In this entrepreneurial role, you will contribute directly to portfolio management, ETF capital markets activities, and the evolution of our nextgeneration ETF platform. You will work with talented investment professionals across the firm while having meaningful ownership, visibility, and impact.



Essential Duties

    Manage ETF portfolios to help deliver strong performance aligned with fund objectives and within regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Execute equity index rebalances and reconstitutions with a thoughtful approach to trading costs, tax implications, and market impact.
  • Support equity and fixed income ETF order flow and broader capital markets functions.
  • Develop and implement trading, tax management, and corporate action strategies.
  • Drive enhancements to investment processes, systems, and operational workflows.
  • Play a key role in shaping TCW's next generation ETF platform and evaluating new markets to support product innovation.
  • Communicate complex investment topics clearly across various internal and external audiences.
  • Build strong cross functional relationships to advance new initiatives and deliver a superior client experience.
  • Execute global equity trades across high touch, algorithmic, and block trading strategies using OMS/EMS tools.
  • Partner with PMs, brokers, custodians, and operations teams to ensure seamless trade execution and settlement.
  • Lead daily reconciliation and understand 1940 Act fund accounting principles.
  • Conduct trading due diligence including TCA, Best Execution reviews, and soft dollar oversight.
  • Experience generating and coordinating equity and fixed income custom baskets for fixed income ETF.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of investment industry experience with strong understanding of asset management, ETFs, index funds, equities, fixed income, and trading operations.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong knowledge of global markets, derivatives, and currency hedging strategies.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL/Python.
  • CFA designation.

This role requires candidates to work from a TCW office a minimum of four days a week. Flexibility for remote work is offered on one day, depending on business needs.

Estimated Compensation:

Base Salary: For a CA based positions, the base salary range is 130k - 150k. This represents base salary range only.

Other Compensation:In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.
