Overview

The Psy Hosp Asst Nurse Executive assists in managing nursing services at a state psychiatric hospital, overseeing staff performance, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Develops policies, evaluates service quality, and ensures efficient nursing operations to support hospital-wide goals.

Responsibilities

1. Ensures adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

2. Directs hiring, training, and performance evaluations for nursing personnel.

3. Monitors treatment effectiveness and ensures high-quality nursing services.

4. Establishes nursing guidelines and operational procedures.

5. Identifies service gaps and recommends improvements.

6. Engages with leadership, staff, and external agencies to align nursing services with hospital needs.

7. Optimizes staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.

8. Works with hospital departments to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
