The Foreign Systems Interfaces (FSI) Engineer will be responsible for the architecture and design of interfaces between Oracle Health Millennium and 3rd party systems. This role will work closely with the Millennium application teams and external vendors to define technical requirements. The chosen candidate will work independently with minimal direction and function as the primary integration advisor to client leaders and cross-functional teams.

DUTIES

  • Architect, design, and govern endtoend integrations that support clinical, financial, and operational workflows across Oracle Health and partner systems.
  • Own and maintain the integration reference architecture, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reuse across multiple implementations.
  • Define, document, and enforce integration standards, patterns, and best practices for all technical teams and vendor partners.
  • Provide architectural direction and handson oversight for integration platforms such as Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Corepoint, Mirth/NextGen Connect, and Cerner Open Engine.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to configure, optimize, or troubleshoot interface engines and integration tooling.
  • Ensure integration platforms are designed for high availability, performance, and compliance with system requirements.
  • Function as the primary integration authority coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Drive decisionmaking across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment, remove blockers, and maintain integration readiness while minimizing go-live disruptions.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for operations, finance, and application teams.

JOB SCOPE

The FSI Engineer ensures that data flows seamlessly, securely, and accurately between systems to support clinical, financial, operational, and administrative workflows. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is pivotal in delivering stable, scalable, and futureready integration solutions that support the implementation strategy and client outcomes.
