Your role

The Operations Manager, PC Indiana, will lead and optimize the production and manufacturing engineering functions to ensure safe, efficient, and high-qulality delivery of industrial vacuum pumps and systems and their service parts. You'll work to align and manage resources both direct and indirect in production and inventory management to achieve production targets and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement with SQDC prioritization

Main Responsibilities



  • Oversee production and inventory management teams to guarantee safe, timely, and quality order fulfillment aligned with customer commitments.
  • Balance immediate operational requirements with long-term business goals, ensuring sustainable production performance.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programs, embedding a culture of operational excellence, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Lead facility and equipment maintenance efforts, managing both internal resources and external contractors to deliver cost-effective enhancements within budget and on schedule.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies, advocating a "safety first, quality always" mindset.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring cross-functional teams and maintaining effective communication channels across all departments and stakeholders.


You will play a critical role in aligning operational strategies with business objectives while promoting continuous learning and innovation. This leadership position offers the opportunity to influence the operational success and growth trajectory of the Vacuum Technique division within Dekker Vacuum Technologies Inc.

  • Bachelor's degree in Operational Leadership, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations, production management, or manufacturing engineering with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience in the industrial manufacturing sector is highly beneficial.
  • Demonstrated capability in driving change initiatives using lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver operational reports and technical presentations effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and sound decision-making skills, with a customer-centric and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with business, production, and planning systems.
  • Fluent professional proficiency in English is required.

This role is based on-site at our PC Indiana facility, providing the advantage of engaging directly with your team and key stakeholders.
