QA Lead - Foreign Exchange (Hybrid in Chicago)

Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a QA Lead - Foreign Exchange (Hybrid in Chicago) for an opportunity with a client located in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Define the overall QA strategy, drive automation initiatives, set metrics, and align with business goals for FX platforms
• Lead design/implementation of automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright), build CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and write scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems
• Work with developers, product owners, and DevOps to integrate quality early (Shift-Left), review designs, and resolve defects
• Oversee functional, regression, performance, and security testing for trading, listing, and compliance applications
• Mentor QA engineers, conduct knowledge sharing, and manage team performance
• Identify, recommend, and implement new tools and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage

Requirements:

• Recently a Sr QA or QA Lead supporting multiple teams, owning strategy etc
• Front-office FX experience, not back office
• Familiarity with FX trading platforms and trading
• Long-term Contract
• Hybrid 3X/ week in Downtown Chicago
• Experience in Financial Services/FX trading systems
• Proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Postman, etc.)
• Strong programming skills (Python/Perl often required) for automation
• Knowledge of SQL, API testing, and CI/CD
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevSecOps
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
