As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license and an armed guard card. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordination with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital and/or clinic areas, including corridors, lobbies, parking areas, and the building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points, help to manage visitor flow, and report unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unsecured doors to the appropriate department, and document observations per post orders.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation with clear, accurate details.
• Operate and/or monitor security-related systems as assigned, such as cameras, radios, and access control, and report issues through the proper channels.
• Assist with locating lost persons, directing visitors, and supporting staff during high-traffic periods and/or special events within the facility.
• Support patient privacy and confidentiality expectations by maintaining professional conduct and sharing information only with authorized personnel as directed.
• Work with Allied Universal leadership and location representatives to follow post orders, communicate changing conditions, and maintain consistent service standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of security experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21+ years of age.
• Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton - preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
