As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to situations as needed. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, support a secure environment, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique requirements of chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Monitor access points and check credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, helping to maintain compliance with site protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns, documenting findings and communicating with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Assist with the implementation of evacuation and emergency procedures as directed by Allied Universal and/or site leadership.
• Support the maintenance of a secure environment by remaining alert to potential hazards or suspicious activities throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
