Position Description Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Automotive Test Technician to support automotive, on-highway truck, and off-highway vehicle testing in our Climatic Vehicle Wind Tunnel. This hands-on role performs test setup, execution, teardown, and data/report generation for customer vehicle programs. About Modine's Climatic Vehicle Wind Tunnel: Our Climatic Vehicle Wind Tunnel enables advanced thermal management testing for both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Test programs focus on engine and transmission cooling systems, electric motor and battery thermal management, HVAC and cabin comfort performance, and other vehicle thermal system development. Position Schedule: This role is fully on-site. Key Responsibilities Set up, execute, and tear down vehicle tests per customer specifications. Install/remove instrumentation and aid with customer-directed vehicle work. Operate data acquisition systems; generate and publish test reports. Troubleshoot test equipment, instruments, and DAQ systems. Maintain wind tunnel systems and testing support equipment. Support annual calibration activities for equipment and tunnel systems. Perform light vehicle repair in support of testing activities. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and contribute to continuous improvement. Required Education & Qualifications 3+ years of technical work experience with automotive or diesel applications 5+ years of experience in a relevant technical discipline Preferred Education and Certification(s): Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Diesel, or related technical field EPA 608 or 609 certification Why Choose Modine?
