We are looking for a Financial Operations Technician to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient financial transaction processing for the finance team by supporting accounts payable, customer invoicing, and monthend close activities.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

When your actions lead to success:

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
• Verify invoice details, match to purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate payments with the corporate transactional services team.
• Set up new vendors and respond to vendor inquiries.

Customer Invoicing

• Prepare and issue customer invoices with the customer service team.
• Ensure billing accuracy and timely delivery.
• Issue credits for qualityrelated returns.
• Resolve customer billing questions.

MonthEnd Closing

• Assist with preparing and posting journal entries.
• Reconcile accounts and validate financial data.
• Complete miscellaneous closing activities to support deadlines.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely close.

General Financial Operations

• Identify and resolve financial data discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Support audits and financial reviews.

When your expertise drives us:

• Associate's degree in accounting or finance preferred, or relevant experience.
• Experience in accounts payable, customer invoicing, and monthend close.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., data manipulation, reporting).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective problemsolving and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Customeroriented mindset with sound business judgment.
• Strong communication skills.
