THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, the employee will engage in a range of semi-skilled tasks that support mechanics in their responsibilities. Key duties include performing general building maintenance, which encompasses cleaning restrooms, offices, conference rooms, lunch areas, foyers, and garage spaces. The employee will also be tasked with collecting trash, dusting furniture and fixtures, sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, and washing windows to ensure a clean and orderly environment. Additionally, the role involves maintaining the yard by keeping it tidy, mowing grass and weeds, removing snow from sidewalks and parking areas, and managing the scrap tire area. Furthermore, the employee will assist mechanics with light mechanical repairs, which may include tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, light repairs, and tire mounting for both light and heavy-duty vehicles as required.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirement:

  • This position requires an active non-commercial Pennsylvania Class C driver's license or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
