Cloud Software Engineer, Senior Associate

Peraton is seeking a talented Cloud Software Engineer to join our dynamic Cyber Missions team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you'll work at the forefront of cloud and cyber technologies, helping to design, develop, and sustain mission-critical systems that have real-world impact.

You'll contribute across the full software lifecycle, collaborating with skilled engineers and stakeholders to perform requirements analysis, cloud software development, installation, integration, testing, validation, and ongoing enhancement. You'll also play a key role in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering).

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in software development or engineering across the full lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience developing software using high-level programming languages such as Java, C, or C++.

• At least 2 years of experience in software integration and testing, including creating and executing test plans and scripts.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
