Pay | $24 per hour

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent (i.e., diploma or GED) from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Maintenance technician experience specifically with 3D printers.
  • Strong desire to learn 3D printing principles and maintenance.
  • Computer proficiency/knowledge: you will use MS Word/PDF manuals, make notes in MS Excel, work with other technicians using MS Teams, and utilize 3D printer scheduling software.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Have a sense of urgency and desire to meet the needs of customers, both internally and externally.
  
  
  
  

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled 3D Printing Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced 3D printing equipment used in the production of high-quality printed parts and prototypes. In this role, you will ensure efficient machine performance, uphold quality standards, and support all stages of the additive manufacturing process-from setup to final assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• 3D Printer Operation & Maintenance - Operate multiple 3D printers, including loading filament, scheduling print jobs via Print Manager software, and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshooting & Repair - Diagnose and perform electro-mechanical repairs on 3D printing machines to minimize downtime and maintain peak performance.
• Quality Control - Inspect printed parts for accuracy, surface quality, and functionality; prepare approved parts for final assembly.
• Parts & Tool Management - Maintain an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Compliance & Safety - Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations while keeping equipment and workspaces clean and organized.
• Production Support - Assist with related 3D processes such as assembly, finishing, and packing as needed.
