As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our core values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the retail environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other prohibited activities.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to staff and customers.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required during critical situations.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verifying credentials as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
