Job Number: R0232610 Data Governance Analyst & SME The Opportunity: As a Data Governance Analyst, you will be instrumental in developing and managing our data governance processes and maintaining strong relationships with our partners. This role involves supporting all facets of our governance program and operations, with a particular focus on enhancing our stewardship framework and capabilities for sensitive data review and monitoring. Utilizing your excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, you will identify inconsistencies in the implementation of our standards and procedures, work to address any gaps, and ensure that effective monitoring mechanisms are in place. You Have: 5+ years of experience working in a business analyst role 1+ years of experience with SQL or Python Experience in a data governance or data management field Knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices Ability to be highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams Ability to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships Ability to think critically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Administration Nice If You Have: Experience categorizing and classifying data Experience with Databricks Experience with data analytics tools and technologies, including Tableau or Power BI Knowledge of Agile methodologies and using an ecosystem of collaboration tools, including Confluence and Jira Vetting: Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
