As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Control access at gates, doors, and designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing traffic flow for employees, contractors, and deliveries.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Complete routine rounds and equipment checks, noting issues such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or operational concerns, and report findings through the proper channels.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activity in written logs and/or electronic systems, providing clear, accurate, and timely information.
  • Assist with truck and vendor check-in by verifying paperwork and directing drivers to appropriate staging and dock locations per site policy.
  • Support emergency and non-emergency response, including contacting local responders when directed and assisting with site notifications.
  • Maintain a professional presence and communicate respectfully with staff and visitors while representing Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
