What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential and commercial common areas, parking areas, sidewalks, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor for and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and policy violations, taking appropriate action consistent with post orders.
• Control access by checking credentials, verifying visitor purpose, and directing residents and guests to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
• Write clear and complete daily activity reports and incident reports, documenting observations, actions taken, and follow-up needs.
• Operate site equipment such as radios, phones, and access control systems, and communicate updates to supervisors and/or property management as required.
• Provide direction and assistance during property events, deliveries, and vendor service calls, including traffic and parking support when needed.
• Perform perimeter checks for unsecured doors, gates, and lighting issues, and promptly report maintenance concerns through established channels.
• Support emergency and medical situations by following site procedures, assisting with scene control, and guiding responders to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
