As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, where you will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and partner with site contacts using teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable approach. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, transit-adjacent areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
- Control access at designated entry points by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing people to the appropriate destination per site procedures.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, and other monitoring systems as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations through the established chain of command.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear direction to staff and visitors while awaiting additional support when needed.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in daily activity reports and incident reports, including times, locations, actions taken, and notifications made.
- Provide traffic and/or pedestrian flow support during peak periods, deliveries, and special events, helping to reduce congestion and maintain orderly movement.
- Perform perimeter checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas, reporting unsecured points and following site procedures for corrective action.
- Assist with lost and found inquiries, escort requests, and customer service needs as assigned, maintaining a professional presence.
- Participate in post briefings, complete required training, and follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies related to communications, reporting, and conduct.
Minimum Requirements: - - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- - At least 1 year of security experience is required.
- - Be at least 21 years of age.
- - Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
