As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to alarms and access control activity as needed. You will document security-related observations, support tenants and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with the team. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, medical situations, and property damage.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
- Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification and/or credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems as assigned, and report irregular conditions per post orders.
- Document routine activities, incidents, and noteworthy observations using required reports and/or electronic reporting systems, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
- Provide assistance with tenant and visitor requests, including directions, escorts when requested, and coordination with building management for after-hours access or deliveries.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire services, and/or medical responders when requested by site leadership, and support scene management until relieved.
- Perform opening and/or closing checks, including checking doors, gates, and common areas for proper status and reporting issues through established channels.
- Follow all Allied Universal policies, post orders, and client instructions, including maintaining a professional presence and appearance while on duty.
Minimum Requirements: - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
