What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk and serve as the first point of contact, greeting and directing visitors, answering phones, and providing general assistance.
  • Help manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and/or vendor logs.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other building systems from the front desk area and report irregular activity per site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Support a professional lobby environment by communicating expectations for entry, deliveries, and restricted areas in line with site policies.
  • Coordinate with onsite teams regarding scheduled guests, meetings, deliveries, and service calls, and communicate status updates to appropriate contacts.
  • Complete daily activity reports and other documentation, including incident reports and shift handoff notes, using required systems and formats.
  • Perform access control tasks such as checking badges at entry points near the lobby and assisting with lost badge procedures per site policy.
  • Assist with basic facility requests at the front desk, such as contacting building management, submitting work requests, and/or directing individuals to the appropriate resource.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
