Job Description




As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Casa Grande, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, collaborate closely, and act with integrity throughout every shift.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific post orders, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
  • Control access at gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints by verifying identification and visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and document observations per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.
  • Complete security-related reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes with accurate details and timely submission.
  • Perform security-related inspections for open doors, broken fencing, damaged lighting, and other conditions that may impact operations, and report findings to the appropriate contact.
  • Support shipping and receiving traffic flow by guiding trucks and deliveries to designated areas when assigned, consistent with site procedures.
  • Follow all site rules for personal protective equipment and industrial location requirements while working indoors and/or outdoors in varying conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
