Job Description




As a Security Officer - Flex Warehouse Rover in Lebanon, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, watch over trailer and dock activity, and communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and site leadership. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location, including warehouse areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and perimeter fencing as directed by post orders.
  • Control access for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery drivers by verifying identification and/or shipment documentation and directing traffic to designated areas.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle activity at gates and dock areas, reporting irregularities and/or delays to site leadership per site-specific policy.
  • Perform routine checks of doors, dock plates, trailer locks, seals, and restricted areas, and report concerns through the established chain of command.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and/or unsecured property to help to deter losses and business interruptions.
  • Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident reports, documenting patrol findings, access events, and service calls according to Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Operate site communications equipment and/or security-related systems such as radios, CCTV, and alarm panels when assigned, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Support emergency response activities such as evacuations, severe weather actions, medical calls, and/or fire alarms, following site-specific procedures and direction from management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
