Job Description




As a Security Officer - Factory Patrol in Fort Gibson, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting site procedures and access control needs. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, act with integrity, and partner with your team to deliver a positive experience every shift.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, fire alarms, equipment alerts, and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, gates, and/or dock doors; verify identification, badges, and/or visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entrances, interior crossings, and/or truck check-in areas as directed by site policy.
  • Perform routine checks of doors, locks, and restricted areas, and report maintenance or facility concerns observed during patrols.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and/or process concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management following site escalation guidelines.
  • Complete accurate and timely reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes using required reporting tools.
  • Assist with alarms and communications by monitoring designated systems and notifying appropriate personnel per post orders.
  • Support emergency and business continuity procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place actions, and/or lockdown steps as directed by site policy and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
