As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with respectful customer service. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disruptive behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, verifying authorization as required and directing visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
- Assist with access control by observing doors, gates, and badge-controlled points, reporting malfunctions and/or tampering in accordance with post orders.
- Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation using Allied Universal reporting procedures.
- Coordinate with clinical staff, facilities, and local responders as needed during fire alarms, severe weather, and other emergency conditions.
- Observe and report hazards, damaged property, and maintenance concerns discovered during patrols, routing issues to the appropriate department.
- Support patient and visitor assistance requests such as wayfinding, escorts to vehicles when requested, and de-escalation support when appropriate.
- Operate site communication equipment such as radios and phones, maintaining timely updates to supervisors and/or site contacts during incidents.
- Help maintain order in public areas by setting clear expectations, providing verbal redirection when appropriate, and requesting additional resources when needed.
- Comply with applicable healthcare location privacy and confidentiality expectations while performing security-related duties.
Minimum Requirements: - - Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- - Be at least 21 years of age.
- - Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- - CPR certification is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
