What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Support access control at a healthcare location by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points, doors, and controlled areas to help reduce unauthorized access, including coordinating with site leadership on restricted-area protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitor activity, deliveries, and unusual events, following site documentation requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify security-related concerns such as propped doors, suspicious behavior, or hazards, and report findings per site policy.
• Observe cameras and/or alarm notifications when assigned, and communicate timely updates to the appropriate contacts.
• Assist with security-related customer service needs such as wayfinding, lost and found intake, and coordinating with staff for patient and visitor support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
