Registered Dietitian

At Innovative Renal Care (IRC), our Registered Dietitians are not just nutrition educators - they are essential clinical partners helping patients with kidney disease live healthier, fuller lives.

In this role, you will provide specialized renal nutrition support to both in-center and home dialysis patients, collaborating closely with nurses, physicians, and social workers as part of an interdisciplinary care team. You'll build long-term relationships with the same patients, guiding them through lab trends, phosphorus control, fluid management, protein needs, and overall nutritional status - all while helping improve measurable clinical outcomes.

You will:

• Conduct comprehensive renal nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor and interpret dialysis labs (albumin, potassium, phosphorus, Kt/V, etc.)
• Provide ongoing patient and family education in a supportive, empathetic manner
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives and quality improvement efforts
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining patient privacy, dignity, and safety
• Partner with clinical leadership to optimize patient outcomes across in-center and home modalities

We are seeking a clinically strong, patient-focused dietitian who thrives in a collaborative healthcare setting.

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Current state licensure (if required) and in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian
• If permitted by state regulations, the 1-year requirement may be waived with qualified supervision
• ESRD / dialysis nutrition experience strongly preferred
• Ability to complete nutrition assessments, develop plans of care, and contribute to QAPI initiatives
• Strong understanding of renal labs, fluid management, and dialysis patient education
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to interpret safety policies, operating procedures, and clinical documentation
• Maintains registration and required continuing education through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

Salary Range:

$25.27 - $41.95 / hour depending on experience and qualifications
