There's a seat at our table for you... *Position Summary:* As an Associate Data Scientist on the Data and Analytics Team, you will be responsible for helping our organization execute a top-tier data science department. You'll use your experience and skill set of statistics, computer science and communication skills to define business challenges and frame them as data science problems explore & visualize complex data sets Assist in the building of models that help solve complex business problems and discover business insights You will be expected to work on initiatives that help our organization find new and innovative ways to create value for our employees and customers. You will integrate into all of the steps from idea generation/prioritization through execution and value realization. What you will do: Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the various business opportunities that require data science solutions Performs problem formulation, requirements gathering, and analytic planning Helps develops predictive models using statistical techniques, machine learningand artificial intelligence Presents and communicates insights back to the business to enable better decision making Provides support through the implementation of the new insights to ensure insights are meeting the needs of the business and creating the expected value Evangelizes best practices to analytics teams throughout the business Performs other duties as assigned. When you will work: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Hybrid schedule, 4 days in office in Atlanta, GA, with 1 day remote What you will bring to the table: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field required Masters Degree preferred Three years of experience or combination of experience and education in data mining, data science, predictive modeling, and delivering business insights in an organization of comparable size required Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure solutions are helping to meet business needs and drive value Proven experience in conducting statistical analysis with advanced scripting languages such as R or Python. Demonstrated ability in writing complex SQL queries. Experience building, identifying & measuring success criteria.
